Photoshoot
Most of these pictures were taken using a professional set up. During this shoot I found out just how important it is to set up good lighting for photos. I much prefer the photos which I took using the set up rather than the ones in natural lighting as I found the natural lighting was too dark. I also learnt that it is very important to plan out your photoshoots before going through with them, as I had an image originally of what I wanted to achieve from the shoot and I was able to test out a lot more because of this pre existing vision
This photo was
taken with a professional set up. I love the direct mode of address. I used an editing app to highlight specific features like the eyes and jewellery to make them stand out more. I found using the professional set up in school to be very helpful, because the photos turned out much better since I had high quality equipment to use. One thing I would improve about this photo is that I would prefer if there was more colour.
I tried some low angle shots here. I think it would be a good idea to use this type of shot at least once for my NEA. However the lighting is not too great here
I love the framing of this image and I decided to implement this pose on other models too. The lighting is different and compliments the model well
This photo is very similar to the first photo however the jacket is slightly open once again allowing for the hint of red which is useful in terms of design for the cover. I'm not too sure if the hands would be too distracting
I love the positioning of this photo however I want to retake it more zoomed out because there will not be much room for headlines if I choose to use it as a front cover. I could potentially write the headline s on the sideI tried to take a picture using two people and this one turned out really well. I like the use of the glitter under the eyes and it intertextualises the show Euphoria which will be appreciated by my target demographic
Experimenting with props. I like the plain background used here
